Hog Island Boat Works is a small company that began in the summer of 2001 with the mission of designing and building the world¹s first roto-molded drift boat. Without the help of total strangers that are now like family, and two tons of luck we would have slipped off the face of the Earth some time ago.

  It is a great pleasure to be in a business that taps into people’s passions for floating and fishing. The stories we hear are legend. Whether it involves hooking a thirty pound King Salmon from the front deck, drifting a shoreline catching grayling, casting hoppers and turning big browns while floating on an August afternoon, or running class IV white water on a multi-day in a wilderness canyon, Hog Island loves to be a part of it. Our aim at Hog Island is to make a worry-free drift boat that acts right on the water, and is ready to go where you want to and when you want to.
